I've often wondered if the online training industry will consolidate into on large provider, at the expense of small shops? Will there be an "Amazon.com" of the online training industry, and is there such a vendor already?

I think not. Training and education is too fluid, too dynamic, and the trends change too quickly and require too much unique knowledge that is not readily available. Training of any kind – whether it's online or not – requires skilled presentation that is not easily commoditized, at least – not yet. Perhaps some time in the future, but not yet.
